Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Bullet Time Scene (the "service"), the website at bullettimescene.com that turns a photo into a 360° bullet time video. "We" and "us" mean the independent operator of Bullet Time Scene. By using the service, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy.

Who can use the service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy credits. You can browse the site, try the samples and upload a photo without an account; generating, unlocking and buying need you to sign in with Google. One person may use one account. Keep access to your account secure: you are responsible for what happens in it.

Credits and payments

  • Videos are paid for with credits. Credits come in one-time packs; there is no subscription. Purchased credits never expire.
  • The number of credits a video costs is shown on the button before you click it. Clicking charges the credits right away; there is no separate confirmation step.
  • Prices are in US dollars. Taxes may apply at checkout.
  • Payments are handled by our payment provider, Waffo Pancake, which acts as the merchant of record and sends your receipt. Your purchase is also subject to Waffo's checkout terms. Credits go to the account that started the checkout, whatever email you enter there.
  • Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred, sold or exchanged, except through a refund under our Refund Policy.
  • If a video fails, times out or is blocked by a safety filter, the credits it used go back to your balance automatically.

Free preview

Each person can make one free preview video. It is made like a Lite video and delivered at 480p with a watermark, and is kept for 7 days. You can unlock the same video (720p, no watermark) for the credits shown on the unlock button. Free previews are limited to one per person: we may refuse a free preview when an account, browser or network has already had one, and we may pause free previews at any time, for example when the daily limit is reached.

Your photos

You keep all rights to the photos you upload. You give us permission to store your photos, crop them to the frame you choose, send them to the AI video provider that renders your video (Kie.ai), and show the results to you, only as needed to run the service. You confirm that you have the right to use every photo you upload.

People & Pets mode asks for this agreement once per account, and it is part of these terms:

I'll only upload photos I own or have permission to use from everyone in them, and never photos of anyone under 18.

Your videos

  • Paid videos, including free previews you have unlocked, may be used for personal and commercial purposes.
  • A free preview that hasn't been unlocked (480p with a watermark) is for personal use only.
  • Videos are generated by AI, with ByteDance's Seedance video models (Seedance 2.0 Mini, 2.0 Fast and 2.5, one per quality tier) run by our AI video provider, Kie.ai. The back of your subject and other angles your photo doesn't show are imagined by the model, and results can contain mistakes. Similar photos can produce similar videos.
  • When you publish a video on a platform that asks for it (for example TikTok, Instagram or Facebook), label it as AI-generated as that platform requires.
  • You are responsible for how you use your videos.

Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short, you may not upload or create content showing other people without their consent, celebrities, anyone under 18, sexual content or violence. Safety filters may block a photo or a video; blocked videos are refunded. An account with five blocked videos within 24 hours is paused from generating for 24 hours.

Suspension, holds and deleting your account

  • We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. A suspended account can sign in, download and delete its videos, but can't generate, unlock or buy.
  • If a purchase is charged back or refunded by the payment provider after some of its credits were spent, the account is put on hold with the same limits until the matter is resolved. Contact support@bullettimescene.com.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the account menu. Your photos and videos are deleted, and any remaining credits are lost; unused purchases from the last 14 days can be refunded before you delete. What we keep after a deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

The service

We work to keep the service running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, pause or stop features, change how many credits a video costs, or pause all generation, for example when our AI provider is having problems. Credits you already hold are not reduced by such changes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site before it takes effect. Using the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
